infinite, dreams, fantasies, visions

About

Mugen is the new beginning. Infinite, Dreams, Fantasies and Visions are the Japanese translations of the word. I’ve been playing with blogging and webpages for years, and went on a fairly long hiatus for pretty much half of 2007 and all of 2008. I’m attempting a return with this.

History

I unofficially began webdesigning back in 2003. Originated on Geocities with a semi-collective. I attempted graphical layouts and got some guidance from Breeze :) A wonderful inspiration. I managed to create 2 layouts with the same basic theme (one Hamtaro and one Sailor Moon) plus the original Sleepy Hollow theme. Following my first attempts as a graphic artist, I opened up Spoon, my blog.

Pretty soon, I was picked up by addicted-angel.net by Hoshi and Mitsu. I dropped my first site by the end of 2003 since it had no real purpose, and then my may of 2004-addicted angel expired and we became kurayami-sora.net.

As the time of kurayami-sora.net came to an end, I luckily got picked up by Brandi at forbidden-color.org. It was a pretty great 6 months until I moved over to the first hinoryu.net in May 2005. Hosted by my brother for a good while, even as I adopted my own hosting and domain through DreamHost. Service through ServerSeed (haha. try googling that service now…we got out in time) ended and I ended up hosting both domains, but keeping my blog at jeanneji.hinoryu.net. The site went through expiration about 2006 and everything was lost before it could be renewed, so I had to start over. Again.

Situations changed and I lost my webdesign interest, but I tried to keep going.  Slowly, people were migrating away from this scene, and people I kept up with went away.  I disappeared, but never died.

Today

Trying to make another comeback, this site is not graphic heavy. I’m trying to focus on just getting my words out. Maybe once I get there, I can start creating again. If that is where the wind blows me.  This term will end this upcoming winter, so I shall hope that it is within budget to continue this service. We shall see when we get there.
